Behold the Waffle Taco
The innovative team at Taco Bell is kind enough to allow Fast Company's brave reporter, Chris Gayomali, to taste test the shining emblem of its soon-to-be-released breakfast menu: the Waffle Taco. Following in the grand tradition of the Doritos Locos Taco and the experimental Quesarito (all the trimmings of a burrito, but rolled into a toasted quesadilla), the new syrup-drenched Frankenfood raises more questions than it answers, like:
- What is a taco, really?
- Isn't a folded waffle still technically a waffle?
- Will Taco Bell's fourthmeal devotees wake up in time for breakfast?
- Is this thing going to give me--er, him--high blood pressure?
