A Live Chat with Tristan Walker of Walker & Company Brands

Join Fast Company associate editor J.J. McCorvey for a live chat with Tristan Walker, founder and CEO of Walker & Company Brands, at 12:00 p.m. ET on Wednesday, November 12.

Tristan Walker was known for years as the "biz-dev guy" for the location-based service Foursquare, where he landed partnerships with brands like American Express and BravoTV. He's now somewhat of a Silicon Valley celebrity, having since moved on as an entrepreneur-in-residence at the tech VC firm Andreessen Horowitz, and, as of last year, founder and CEO of Walker & Company Brands.

Walker's startup aims to transform health and beauty for people of color, and his first brand is Bevel, a shaving system for men with coarse or curly hair. But Walker is also a fierce advocate for racial diversity in the technology sector—both through his company and the nonprofit he founded, Code2040—at a time when firms like Google and Facebook are being criticized for their lack of minority employees.
